Rock Academy in Woodstock, NY is a performance based music school. Each season I participate in 2 different rock themed shows, where I learn new songs & perform in shows singing, playing bass, guitar, and drums. Thus far I've performed in shows like Pop Punk, Queer Rock, Rebel Girls, 90s Grunge, 2000s, Nu-Metal, PJ Harvey, The Pretenders, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, The Police, The Cure, Blondie, 80s New Wave and more.

I was also selected to be a part of The Rock Academy's Showband group, called the advanced touring group of young musicians between the ages of 12 and 18 who have been selected for their musical dedication, showmanship, love of performing, and ability to share the stage with professional musicians as they tour the world. In addition to our regular Rock Academy theme shows, each season we learn an additional set of mixed-genre songs, ranging from an eclectic mix of rock, high energy funk and dance to psychedelic deep cuts.

It's a whole lot of new music learned each season, and between the regular shows and Showband, I learn and perform 80+ new songs per year!
